Edgar was great to work with. I had numerous questions throughout the entire process and he was always very kind and generous with his time to help me out. Once the project started , the crew who worked on my roof were very diligent, respectful and made sure everything was up to par.

The Roofing experiance is a great company to work with, Edgar will 100% do what ever it takes to make sure youre Roofing experiance a good one. His crews are true craftsman and respectful of youre home. The reason I chose the Roofing Experiance is that I was able to see the work he did on a neighboring property , the roof replacement he did looked great , and the way his crew conducted themselves was admirable . There were a few hiccups due to Utahs unpredictable weather, but it did not take away from the end result which was perfection. It was truly a pleasure entrusting Edgar with my roof.

Really appreciate the prompt and detailed customer service. They installed our roof before we bought the house and when we had issues with a cap leaking they came to the rescue. It was outside of their warranty but came out and replaced it for my satisfaction.

My husband and I bought a house that unfortunately had a damaged, leaking roof with poorly installed gutters, which led to extensive mold damage. Our mold remediation company recommended Edgar and The Roofing Experience for the reroof. Since the mold company deals with the consequences of poorly installed roofs every day, we took that recommendation very seriously.

Our roof was a complicated replacement. It still had the original cedar shakes beneath two layers of asphalt shingles, all over skip sheathing with no solid decking, so everything had to be torn off and rebuilt. We also had two crumbling chimneys that needed to be removed. We got several quotes, and Edgar’s was significantly less expensive than the other top-quality bids, with an excellent warranty, and confidence that he and his crew knew what they were doing. He took the time to listen to all of our concerns, walked us through the options, and explained the reasoning behind each recommendation without ever making us feel pressured.

One thing that really stood out was that Edgar's crew are all W-2 employees rather than whichever subcontractors happen to be available that week. That gave us a lot of confidence that the quality of the installation would be consistent, and the crew absolutely lived up to that expectation. They were professional, courteous, and handled the unexpected discovery of a family of SIX RACCOONS living in one of the chimneys with good judgment and a positive attitude.

Our neighbors, who are not easily impressed, even commented on how professional the crew was. They took care to protect the property, did a thorough nail sweep that even included our neighbors' yard, and left the job site clean every day.

Edgar also went above and beyond in small ways that made a big difference. He left the dumpster for an extra weekend so we could dispose of insulation my husband was removing from the attic, which saved us a tremendous amount of hassle. He also left us with gutter color samples so we could take our time choosing a color that we liked because he understood this was a long-term investment.

I highly recommend Edgar and The Roofing Experience. They delivered excellent workmanship, honest communication, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service from start to finish. We now have peace of mind knowing that our roof was done right and will last for decades.

My realtor recommended Edgar and I’m so happy she did. We talked to many roofing companies in the area, but I felt Edgar was the best man for this job. Edgar and his team did such an amazing job on my house roof + detached unit roof as well! He’s super knowledgeable and loves to educate you on what you’re getting. Him and his team were working on our house within 2 weeks of signing our contract, were super clean and professional, and done within 2 days! My upstairs is already significantly cooler with the upgraded roof system. Super happy with the outcome! It looks amazing

Edgar and his company provide an amazing service with quality work that you can count on and a firm guarantee on the work that they provide. We enjoyed having them here while they were installing our new shingles. We have a beautiful new roof and the price was right. You can expect up front pricing, up front scheduled work dates, completion dates and thorough communication throughout the process. A big thank you for the work performed as well as the additional work performed to make sure that the roof was perfect for us.

Edgar the owner is great! Workmanship is excellent, his willingness to please is above and beyond. He always had our best interest at heart. He will go the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. He gave great advise in dealing with other situations that he was willing to take care of but wasn't his responsibility and he even fixed other things just because he could. He knew how and he was generous also! All at a reasonable and fair price . The roof and gutters look amazing! Thank you Edgar and crew. It was our pleasure doing business with you and we feel like we have made a new friend! Best to you!

Hiring The Roofing Experience was hands-down one of the best decisions I made for my home. Edgar, the owner, is the real deal — honest, hardworking, and refreshingly easy to get in touch with. Every text and call was answered quickly, every question was met with a clear answer, and every promise was kept. His team was efficient, respectful, and impressively fast without sacrificing quality. They left the property spotless and the roof looking better than I imagined. It’s rare to find a contractor who combines this level of skill, integrity, and customer care. If you’re in the Salt Lake City area and need roofing work done right, do yourself a favor and call Edgar. Best decision I’ve made …You won’t regret it!

Edgar and professional Team was so good to work with. I appreciated the extra time spent in covering things up around the house for the Tear-Off process. Their communication was top notch! We new exactly what to expect and there where no surprises throughout the entire process.

The install was timely and the quality of service also exceeded expectations!

I would recommend The Roofing Experience to all in need of roofing replacement! It’s nice to see Customer Satisfaction is still king!

The owner educated me on the process and I learned some things I did not know. Great work, definitely a better roof than I wanted because he told about the ups and downs of different roofs. The price was better than anyone else! Clean up was great! Now I'm not going to get wet, lol. I believe they went above and beyond here and there & I appreciate it! I recommend these guys any day!

The Roofing Experience team was incredible. This was the first time I’ve ever had to get a roof replaced, so I did the usual of calling and getting quotes. The roofing experience by far was the best priced quote, and the best customer service we got from the other quoted companies. Didn’t feel like just a number - the owner even remembered my 4 year old son’s favorite Pokémon and brought him Pokémon cards…who does that?!?! COMPANIES THAT CARE DO THAT! I’ve already recommended The Roofing Experience to family. Thanks guys!

I was referred Edgar at The Roofing Experience by a friend and colleague. After getting multiple bids from other competitors I reached out to Edgar and was meet with one of the most honest and professional roofing companies I have ever had the privilege of working with. Edgar was understanding to all of our needs and had the best prices bar none. I cannot tell you enough about how professional Edgar was but also the professionalism that his employees showed while working on our home. The experience from start to finish was nothing but smooth, efficient and professional. (The new roof is amazing too).
Edgar personally went out of his way to meet with me and talk with me throughout the entire process. Additionally he utilizes software that literally sends you progress photos as your roof is being replaced or repaired. I will only utilize The Roofing Experience for any and all projects and homes moving forward. I cannot recommend them enough. Not only did I get amazing service and quality, I also gained a friend and that is how business should be done. This company is the platinum standard that all roofing companies should be based off of! I cannot recommend them enough!

We loved our experience with The Roofing Experience! We initially called about a small leak, but upon arrival Edgar found that we had a much bigger problem, the previous roof replacement from before we had moved in had been installed incorrectly. They completely saved our roof and house, because it would not have lasted the winter! They were quick to get us in and taken care of, very open with communication, and really fairly priced. We love the way our roof looks, and that we can now have a peace of mind no matter how much rain or snow comes our way!

We recently had our roof replaced by The Roofing Experience and it was a really great experience overall. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, and did a really solid job, all in just half a day! They also made sure everything was cleaned up really well before they left.

Edgar was the person we worked with and we couldn’t have had anyone better to help us through this process . He was easy to get ahold of, answered all of our questions, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish.

The roof looks awesome and we’re really happy with how it turned out. We definitely recommend The Roofing Experience, and especially Edgar  if you’re looking for a reliable roofing company.

Here are the before and after photos to show how good this roof looks now!

Edgar and The Roofing Experience did an excellent job with our roof replacement. Edgar was very responsive and quick to communicate throughout the process. I happened to be out of town during the project, and they made the entire process very easy by keeping me updated and providing real-time photos of the installation so I could see the progress. They also handled the city inspections promptly, which helped keep everything moving smoothly. Although we've only had the new roof for several weeks, everything appears to be high quality and well done. I would highly recommend The Roofing Experience.

As a realtor, having reliable vendors is essential, and The Roofing Experience has been incredible to work with. Edgar and his team always fit my clients in during tight timeframes, make themselves available when needed, and provide ethical, fair service with amazing workmanship.

Edgar also completed my personal roof and rain gutters, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you to Edgar and the team for being the roofer I can always count on and helping keep my real estate transactions running smoothly. Highly recommend!

If there was a way to rate the Roofing Experience and my experience with them 10 stars, I'd give em 13! Edgar was super chill and easy to work with! They communicated with me every step of the way with constant picture updates on the progress of replacing the roof, and were done with the roof in less than 9 hours!
They used nets and magnets and covers and everything else you can think of too ensure minimal refuse left behind in the form of nails etc...
I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and efficiency!
And of course the finished product was superb!
I can't recommend them enough!
If you're in the market for a new roof or anything roof related, give em a call...
You're gonna love what you find!

I recently needed to get a full roof replacement within a very short time. After getting multiple estimates, I chose The Roofing Experience. I could not have asked for better service! The roof looks beautiful! I love the quality of the materials used, the care taken by the owner, and all the staff involved in the installation and cleanup. We had a short delay because of weather, but they were still able to complete the work within a day and a half.
If you want great communication with a vendor, high-quality materials, Installation, and cleanup I would highly recommend The Roofing Experience!

The Roofing Experience was great to work with. They were professional and communicated all the way through the process. They were fairly priced to other bids and had connections to help me with rain gutters as well.
The pictures I was sent after the install showing the roof and everything they did was a bonus.

I had gotten a few other bids for my gutters and his honest pricing beat them by half. They showed up , worked hard and had it done fast. They cleaned up the mess and I even made the workers some lunch and they were so happy and nice. I love his worth ethic and honesty. I will never use another company for any roofing or gutter needs. I will refer him out and know he will go above and beyond for anyone I send his way.

Edgar is the man! We bought an older home with the original roof and weren’t sure if it was time to replace it yet. Another company tried to push us into pricey repairs right away, but Edgar came out, did a thorough inspection, and gave us an honest take: we didn’t need to do anything yet.

He even sealed up a small spot while he was up there, just because he was already on the roof. We were super impressed and really appreciate how straightforward he was. We’ll 100% be calling Edgar when it’s eventually time for a full replacement.

Overall great workmanship, great customer facing service, and very knowledgeable. If you want someone who is friendly, honest, and 100% not going to waste your time trying to sell you on every single upcharged item, this is the company for you.

I searched and received bids from 9 different companies in the Layton area when looking for a new roof. Edgar’s prices landed on the middle/high side but the quality work he provides is worth it.

He is one of the few roofing companies certified in this area by his shingle manufacturer to provide an enhanced warranty.

Edgar and his team are amazing to work with! They are very professional and informative. They let me know every step of the process with hundreds of photos of the current progress. They got it done very quickly and cleaned up every scrap of material from the job. I would highly recommend The Roofing Experience.

I had severe water damage from my swamp cooler and not only was this company very competitively priced but they went over and above to not only repair the decking and resheet roof along with all the other special requests i had (like deleting unused vent pipes) but they showed up on time, were very professional, and didnt charge me extra for all the extra damage that was found. I recommend this company and will look to them for any future roofing needs i may have.

When I was finishing my basement I noticed that I had water making its way into the house. Edgar came over and fixed it the same day I told him about it. If you’re looking for quality and professional advice I highly encourage you to contact him.

Wow! I've had at least 6 bids on my roof, just the random companies stopping by. Edgar was recommended from a family friend. I can say this, thee most professional estimate, the quickest follow up, the best service from start to finish. This company goes the extra mile in all regards, including a live project update during construction. I could see the whole process from tear off to clean up from the comfort of my office. If only every company ran with this attitude and commitment to customer experience. The Roofing Experience is a proper name, because that's what it was for me, a proper experience. Do yourself a favor and schedule your Roofing experience with Edgar and his crew!

Edgar and his team at The Roofing Experience were definitely the best choice I made with my roof repairs. I had a need to tie in a large exhaust stack through my roof at my business and these guys did it with great skill and no issues. Edgar gave me a quote that was far less than others I received, and then stuck to it. Quick, affordable, and most importantly, great quality work!

Amazing job by an amazing contractor. Nothing but good things to say. Communication was great from start to finish with check ins every step of the way which shows an eye for details and care for the finish result and success of project. I felt very well taken care of and all my needs were met. Super smooth experience.

Great experience! Edgar was communicative throughout the process, and worked with me to put a new roof on my home shortly after closing. His crew worked quickly to take advantage of a small weather window. The dumpster was removed as the job was completed.

Extremely happy with my experience with The Roofing Experience!

My roof was in desperate need of replacement and new gutters, and after getting upwards of 10 bids from different roofing contractors in the northern Utah area I knew I would be going with them straight off. Edgar was very kind and honest, and the bid he gave me was fair compared to other companies who I felt were trying to take advantage of me. Edgar was extremely helpful through the entire process, took lots of pictures and gave me updates. His team worked fast and were very friendly, smiling and waving back to my young kids as we came and went during the construction!

My roof and gutters look AMAZING and zero mess was left afterwards. They took great care in protecting my home from debris and were super fast and efficient.

I can’t recommend them enough!

Edgar and the roofing experience did an excellent job for us. They had the most competitive bid of the three we got. They saved us over $4,000.00 and the work and materials used were as good or better than other roofing companies I've worked with in the past. I'm very happy with the choice we made and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a new roof!

I am extremely particular when it comes to any type of contracting maintenance on my house. I want it done the right way versus the quick way. I am pleased to say that The Roofing Experience did just that and exceeded my expectations. From the proposal all the way to clean up, Edgar and his team are top notch. My options were clearly laid out and discussed, and a couple of minor issues that were discovered during the process was clearly identified and discussed prior to the team pressing forward. The upgraded ice and water membrane and ridge vents are a must! His team even went above and beyond and painted the new metal pipe flashing that was installed (only visible from the backyard mind you) so that it blended with the shingle color. The valley metal they installed really sets the roof apart from my neighbors and gives it a high class look. Edgar's team was also extremely professional, which is very rare in today's workforce. Edgar also went above and beyond and made sure my previous roof leaking issues were 100% addressed, and showed me what they had to address it. This team is by far one of the best I've dealt with and I couldn't be happier. Don't hesitate to use Edgar for your roofing needs!!

Working with Egdar was a dream. He was very helpful and made sure I was informed on what was happening and what I could expect every step of the way. He provided up front pricing, updated pictures once work began, he also sent texts about any possible delays that may occur due to weather. We needed a new roof due to hail and wind damage and the process was at the start someone overwhelming. We had a few companies try to oversell us on expensive products but Edgar gave fair pricing and educated us along the way. It was an amazing experience and I would encourage anyone to use their services if they might be on the fence about it. 10/10!

Edgar and his crew are the roofers you want, especially if you’ve had a disaster or want quality job. Our roof was significantly damaged from a hail. I was extremely stressed out as a single mom getting my roof replaced, with the cost and how the finish product would look. Edgar went up and beyond to help me pick out the color, talk me through the process as much as I needed, ensure a quality job, and that I was happy with the finished product. He also help me with an insurance company claim. And I would recommend to anyone to use the roofing experience. I was never inconvenienced during the replacement, and I feel like my expectations of the look of my new roof exceeded what I thought it would look be. If I could give The roofing experience 10 stars, I would. Thanks Edgar and crew!

Edgar and his team really got me out of a bind! I'm selling the house and Edgar came over to certify the roof. During his inspection he found a hole in the ridge due to wind damage and that the pipe jacks were leaking... All things the previous inspector failed to catch, which could have been very costly if not fixed before the snow came. Edgar fit us on his schedule for next week and his team knocked the roof out in nearly one day. They cleaned up and it was like they weren't even here! Phenomenal!

This was the best experience, Edgar and his team are amazing. They did such a great job my roof it looks amazing now. It is a very messy job, I could not believe how well they cleaned up after the job was done. They take pictures throughout the whole process, being able to see what they are doing without getting on the roof was very cool. I would highly recommend them.

Edgar and his team were very responsive and professional. They replaced my roof and gutters right on schedule as we had discussed. They don’t just put the cheapest material on so they can make the biggest profit. They only use the highest quality material and the install looks great. Looking forward to not having to worry about my roof for at least 40 years. I definitely have the best looking roof in all of my neighborhood now.

I had The Roofing Experience replace my roof and gutters. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, from start to finish. Before they started, they explained everything very clearly and were patient with all my questions. The roof replacement was understandably loud and very dirty, but I was amazed at the finished product. My driveway, yard, and landscaping were clean. I could tell the crew really did their best at picking up as many nails as possible from my property. I have the best looking roof in the neighborhood and all my neighbors are jealous of how good it looks.
I would recommend The Roofing Experience to anyone who wants the best roof and a worry-free experience!
